We learned about a 'control' in an experiment- that we always used a new egg with each drop.
We thought the water would be the best substance to protect the egg, but it turned out to be the second worse. The best substance was the toilet paper and it protected it all the way to 60 inches. The worst substance was the plain glass bowl, which we thought it would be in the beginning.
